Douglas Kearney stuff, including a reading I’m a part of

from Fence Books:

Fence

It’s going to be a very Douglas Kearney week, and we like it that way.

New Yorkers, catch him reading this Saturday, Jan 29, with writer and visual artist Yedda Morrison at the Segue Reading Series in the Bowery Poetry Club.

Those of you more upstate can see him next Tuesday, Feb 1, when Fence and the New York State Writers Institute host him, along with poet Tomás Urayoán Noel, at the University at Albany.

From there, the Douglas Kearney tour bus (which may or may not take the form of a rental minivan) travels down to D.C. where Fence Records will be launching his new CD of The Black Automaton at AWP. And, as we’ve mentioned a couple times, he’ll be performing as part of Fence‘s AWP Offsite Spectacular [this event will be so fly and I am one of the readers -nick]

Not enough? We agree. Check out his website for all the latest and greatest.
